At Asili Living Co, every product is made with care and intention. As a small, independent skincare and bath brand, we put our heart into everything we create — and your satisfaction genuinely matters to us.
Because of the personal nature of skincare products and the care that goes into each item, all sales are final. However, we never want you to feel left alone with a concern. If something isn’t right, please reach out — we will do our best to make it right.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges. If you have a concern with your order, contact us and we will work with you to find a resolution.
1. Why All Sales Are Final
As a small business, we handcraft our skincare and bath products in limited quantities. For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on opened or used products. Once a product leaves our hands, we cannot verify its condition or re-sell it.
We encourage you to:
• Read full product descriptions and ingredient lists carefully before purchasing
• Perform a patch test before applying any new skincare product to your full face or body
• Reach out to us at contact@asililivingco.ca before purchasing if you have questions about a product’s suitability for your skin type
2. What We Will Do If Something Goes Wrong
While we don’t offer refunds, we genuinely care about your experience. If you have an issue with your order, contact us within 7 days of receiving your package and we will review your concern and respond within 2–3 business days.
Depending on the situation, we may offer one or more of the following resolutions at our discretion:
• A replacement product if your item arrived damaged or defective
• Store credit toward a future purchase
• Product usage guidance or a recommended alternative from our collection
• Any other resolution we feel is fair given the circumstances
We assess every concern individually and on a case-by-case basis. Reaching out does not guarantee a specific outcome, but we promise to listen and respond with care.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged in transit, or if you received the wrong product, please contact us at contact@asililivingco.ca within 7 days of delivery with:
• Your order number
• A brief description of the issue
• Clear photos of the item and packaging
We will review your submission and work toward a fair resolution. Claims submitted after 7 days of delivery may not be eligible for any remedy.
4. Skin Reactions & Sensitivities
Adverse skin reactions do not qualify as product defects and are not eligible for a refund or replacement. It is your responsibility to review all ingredients and perform a patch test prior to full use.
Our products are formulated with natural and carefully selected ingredients. However, individual skin sensitivities vary and we cannot predict how every skin type will respond. If you experience irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional if needed.
5. Change of Mind
We are unable to accommodate cancellations, returns, or refunds due to a change of mind once an order has been placed and confirmed. Please review your cart carefully before completing your purchase.
If your order has not yet been fulfilled, contact us immediately at contact@asililivingco.ca and we will do our best to assist, though cancellations are not guaranteed.
6. Buy Now, Pay Later Orders
If you used a Buy Now, Pay Later service (such as Afterpay, Klarna, or Shop Pay Installments), this policy still applies. Your payment obligations to the BNPL provider are separate from our refund policy. We are not responsible for any fees, charges, or obligations arising from your BNPL agreement.
7. Ontario Consumer Protection
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or override any rights you may have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation. If a mandatory statutory remedy applies to your situation, we will honour it as required by law.
